Trip to the National Zoo in Washington DC

International students and scholars (and their spouses) are invited to join a trip to the National Zoo in Washington DC.

We will meet at the International House on 2810 N Calvert St. at 11:00 am.
We will drive 50 minutes to College Park (a city outside DC) Metro Station, park our cars, then take a train to DC.
It's free to enter the Zoo and we have group tickets already reserved. Your cost is only for the DC metro train.

Cost: Metro Smart Trip card is $2. If you have a DC Metro Smart Trip card, bring it. Cost of the fare from College Park to DC is $2.25 and another $2.25 for the trip back. So, you can fill $4.50 to your Metro card for the round trip. Here is a video how to buy and use a Metro card :)

We will exit at Cleveland Park Station in DC and walk to the Zoo.
We will leave the Zoo when it will be closed at 4:00 pm. We will take the metro train back to College Park and drive back to Baltimore with our cars. We will be back about 6:00 pm.
